Getting the Job of my Dreams

Sooo I've been working the same job for about 2 and half years now and I really love it. My fellow servers, environment and management are nothing short of amazing, but I'm getting to the point now where I just want something more. I want to work in the fashion industry doing what I love. I'm extremely passionate about fashion and beauty and obsess about it day and night. I'm constantly looking through fashion blogs, checking out chictopia.com and lookbook.nu, reading my favorite fashion magazines, shopping constantly online to see the latest styles and watching fashion television to hear the latest about the industry. I've always been passionate about fashion every since I was a little kid. I can remember saving all my birthday and christmas money and going on a shopping spree and spending ever last cent! (It was my favorite thing to do all year!!). When I moved to Toronto to go to School for Makeup Art and SPFX my passion soon turned into an obsession! Everything here is at my finger tips and I'm constantly inspired by people I see on the street and what I see all around me. Inspiration is everywhere you just have to look for it!

So I have a question for anyone that is reading that can relate in some way.. How did you get yourself into the industry? What is the best way to set myself up for success? Let me know anything you think would help!

Beautiful Living

I thought Id share some pictures of a Loft that is located here in Toronto. The Abbey Church Lofts are built inside an old church and has beautiful stain glass windows, vaulted wood ceilings and exposed brick walls which make it perfectly original and unique. I dream of living in a place like this :) Enjoy!

Isn't it just Beautiful! I can just imagine decorating it, it would be amazing! My Boyfriend and I just purchased our first place in Toronto this year, but wont be moving in until next fall as its not built yet. I cant wait until we get to meet with the Interior Designer to pick all our features and upgrades. I'm not 100% sure what I exactly want yet, but I'm sure it will be beautiful when its done! (at least I hope so) Ill keep posting on here about the Progress with my new place and hopefully post pictures along the way :)

Some of my Favorite Shoes that wont cost you an arm and a leg! Sam Edelman makes really beautiful shoes at a very reasonable price. The ones shown here are great for a casual outfit, but there is however the same boots with spikes all over the heels that would be fabulous for a night out on the town or to spice any outfit for that matter. Zara as everyone knows makes great shoes that fallow current trends that aren't a crazy price and look great. The Booties in this set I saw the other day while at the mall and a fell in love with them. They would look great with a pair of skinny jeans and a oversized sweater / cardigan.
